Waiting to Board

We’re at Phnom Penh International Airport now and just waiting for our boarding time. My son is so excited he keeps on asking if it’s our turn to board.

We’re all excited to go back to Philippines for a visit. It’s been nine long months since our last visit to Philippines.

In the meantime, our waiting is comfortable in the newly renovated Phnom Penh International Airport. It has free wifi and it’s more spacious than the last time I was here (November 2011).

Check out some photos I took inside.

I hope the Ninoy Aquino International Airport will also undergo a major renovation so it wouldn’t be included in the worst airports in the world.

My 3 Favorite Airports

Let me start this post by listing down the International Airports that I have been to:

1.) Ninoy Aquino Internationa Airport – Manila, Philippines
2.) Changi International Airport – Singapore, Singapore
3.) Male International Airport – Male, Maldives
4.) Bandaranaike Internationa Airport – Colombo, Sri Lanka
5.) Kuala Lumpur International Airport – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
6.) Denpasar International Airport – Bali, Indonesia
7.) Penang International Airport – Penang, Malaysia
8.) Noi Bai International Airport – Hanoi, Vietnam
9.) Tan Son Nhat International Airport – Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamn
10.) Suvarnabhumi International Airport – Bangkok, Thailand
11.) Charles de Gaulle Airport – Paris, France
12.) Dubai International Airport – Dubai, UAE
13.) Chek Lap Kok Airport – Hongkong, Hongkong
14.) Phnom Penh International Airport – Phnom Penh, Cambodia
15.) Langkawi International Airport – Langkawi, Malaysia

That’s fifteen International Airports around the world. It is not a very extensive list but I think that’s enough for me to list down my favorites. Here they are:

1.) Changi International Airport

Who doesn’t love this airport? I love how clean, efficient and pretty the airport is, not to mention the free wifi and the varied choices of shopping and food inside. I don’t mind staying long in this airport. I even make sure I check-in early!

2) Kuala Lumpur International Airport

This picture was taken over three years ago hence the round body. LOL! We used to live in Kuala Lumpur before for almost two years so we often use this airport. At that time, some parts were under renovation. I like KLIA because it’s not crowded. They also have better choices of food – which is essential to me. LOL! The last time we used this airport was a year ago already.

3) Chek Lap Kok Airport

We’ve been to Hongkong twice. Just like the above airports, I like this airport because of its nice choices of restaurants and shopping. LOL! But primarily, I like it because I could easily find an empty chair easily. It doesn’t hurt also that immigration and check-in seemed to be fast.

What are your favorite airports? Please do share.
